Refund Policy
Refined to Thrive provides professional development services, which include but are not limited to resume-writing, cover letters, coaching, and much more. Like any writing project, there will be multiple drafts and revisions. Due to the nature of our work, the research required, the time committed, and the tailored writing that takes place at each order, all sales are final. Our writers will work with you throughout the Refinement Period until you are satisfied with your product. As a result, there are no refunds once your writing service* has been purchased.
*Writing services signifies any purchase or package that includes a resume, cover letter, or an optimized LinkedIn page.
Refinement Policy
The road to refinement begins with you! We provide a transparent and easy process to support you in reaching your goals.
Step 1
Choose a service: Select the best service to help you overcome your current obstacle. There are packages and a la carte services for you to choose from. Read through the descriptions and reviews to identify which is best for you. Once you purchase you’ll receive an email confirmation receipt and you’ll find directions with the next steps and a questionnaire. The sooner you submit the completed questionnaire, the sooner we can begin to work on your service.
Step 2
Upon completion of the questionnaire, you’ll receive an email confirming receipt, and the date to expect your first draft. The email will also include a link to the schedule to book any coaching session that is included in your purchase.
Step 3
You’ll receive your first draft in 5-10 business days. Examine this document closely! Look for concerns you may with dates, details, formatting, language, or anything else that you are not happy with. Return these corrections to us as soon as possible, so that you can receive the next draft in 5 business days**.
Step 4
When you have confirmed all the changes, you’ll receive a finalized version of your resume in two formats.
** Finalization of contracted written documents must be approved within 5 business days of the receipt of materials. After 5 business days, all services will be considered approved and complete, and additional work will be billed as a new service
Liability
LIABILITY
Refined to Thrive will not be liable to you (whether under the law of contact, the law of torts, or otherwise) in relation to the contents of, or use of, or otherwise in connection with, this website:
for any indirect, special, or consequential loss; or
for any inaccurate, incorrect, or misleading information in the prepared materials as the Client is required to review the materials and approve the entire content prior to final delivery
for any business losses, loss of revenue, income, profits or anticipated savings, loss of contracts or business relationships, loss of reputation or goodwill, or loss or corruption of information or data.
Refined to Thrive cannot guarantee career outcomes and it is incumbent upon Clients to aggressively partake in the job search process, including applying for qualifying positions that the Client meets the requirements for.
Refined to Thrive is not responsible for the Client’s use or non-use of the resume or writing project. However, if any Refined to Thrive Client has not been contacted to interview at least once within 90 days after approval of the final draft of their document, then the Client will receive one complimentary consultation to identify any barriers in addition to one (1) resume rewrite free of charge.
